Monstera Thai Constellation — detail

A constellation grown in the lab

Born in a Thai tissue-culture laboratory, this Monstera carries a stable creamy variegation, speckled across each leaf like a field of stars.

Because its pale zones hold no chlorophyll, it grows more slowly than the standard Monstera and remains one of the most sought-after houseplants in the world.

"The Thai Constellation carries a starry sky on every leaf."

Styling Tip 01

Bright indirect light

Light is what feeds the variegation: plenty of brightness, but never direct sun, which scorches the cream areas.

02

Styling Tip 02

Let the surface dry

Water when the top two centimetres of the mix are dry, and always empty the saucer.

03

Styling Tip 03

Moss pole and clean leaves

Train it up a moss pole and wipe its leaves: it will produce wider, more regular fenestrations.
